Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
ROBOOK ("we", "us") helps households rent humanoid robots by the hour. This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email, city, and address so we can dispatch a shift.
- Booking & payment info — the shifts you book and the payment method used (processed by our payment provider; we don't store full card numbers).
- Robot activity data — kinematic and task data from each shift: how the robot moved, which chores it completed, and how long each took. No audio and no biometric data.
- Live feed — the video stream exists only during your active shift. It is not recorded to our servers and terminates when the shift ends.
How we use it
- To schedule, run, and supervise your shifts.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To improve safety and the performance of the robots that serve you.
- To contact you about your bookings and, if you opt in, product updates.
What we don't do
We never sell your personal data. Robot activity data is shared only with the manufacturer of the unit that served you, to improve that unit — never for advertising and never with unrelated third parties.
Data retention
Live footage is never stored. Account and booking records are kept for as long as your account is active or as required for legal, tax, and safety purposes. You can request deletion at any time.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Cancel a shift or override any task from the app.
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and per-shift session revocation to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the risk low.
